This invention relates to improvements in foot warmers.

The object of this invention is the provision of a foot warmer especially adapted to be arranged on a standard make of radia- ,the floor or anywhere about the length of the radiator and is provided with a door which may be lifted so as to permit access .to the interior of the casin so that the feet may be placed therein and ept warm.

A still further object of this invention is the provision of a casing which can be used ass-foot warmer or if desired may be used asan oven in a sick room to keep things warm and can be used at any time to warm anything that will go intothe casing.

A. stillfurther object of this invention'is the provision of afoot warmer of this character, which will be simple, durable and efiicient, and which may be manufactured and sold 'at a comparatively low cost. these and other objects in view the invention consists of the novel combination and arrangement of parts as will be herein: after more fully described and claimed.

Referring more particularly to, the drawings, the numeral 1 designates a casing in its entirety and this casing constitutesxa foot warmer and it compr ses in its construction the top wall 2, s1de walls 3, which side walls have formed on their lower longitudinal edges at a spaced distanceapart the forwardly inclined supporting legs 4, which legs are arran ed in pairs and each-pair formed integra 1y with the lower longitudi-- nal edges of the sides 3 and inclined forwardly as clearly shown in Fig. 1 of the draw ngs.

The bottom plate 13 comprising the sections 15 is provided with a plurality of spaced perforations 16, the purpose of which will be hereinafter more fully described.

A plurality of blades 17 comprising the substantially triangular shaped body portions 18, which body portions have their extreme rear edges reduced as at 19 and provided with a longitudinally extending slot 20,- and the blades are removably secured between the sections 15 of the bottom wall 13, as at 21 with their apex es extending rearwardly. p

The body portions 18 are secured between the walls 2 and 10 of the casing 1, have extended from their apexes semicir'cular portions 22 and the bases of these members are lemovably secured between the top wall 2 and partition wall 10 at a spaced distance apart.

The blades have their apexes arran e between the tubes or sections of the radiator and due to their movableconnections with the bottom Wall and top Wall, they may be adjusted to fit various sized tubes of rediators so as to readily position the casing to the radiator, as clearly illustrated in the figures of the drawings.-

The forward front longitudinal edge of the bottom wall 13 has a semi-circular curved depending flange 23 formed thereon, which flange is adapted to receive the heel portion of a shoe when the door is in an opened position, thus positioning the forward part of the foot within the casing 1 when the same is positioned upon the tubes of the radiator.

The door 8 has secured to its front face a knob 24:, which facilitates the moving of the door on its hinges 7. The knob 24 may be ranged under a spring 25, formed integrally with the inclined portion 5 of the top wall, thus. holding the door in an opened position to permit the same to be used as the foot warmer. i

The side walls 3 have formed integrally therewith, the laterally extending brackets 26, which brackets-may be formed on the interior or exterior as clearly shown in Figs. 1 and 2 of the drawings.

Supporting rods 27 have one of their ends screw-threaded as at 28 and are adapted to extend through the ears 26 or brackets 35 and secured therein by the nuts 29, the free ends of the rods extend rearwardly beyond the rear vertical ends of the side walls and terminate into hooks 30, 'which are adapted to be secured behind the tubes of the radiator as at 31, thus securely positioning the casing to the front side of a' radiator and in any desired position thereon.
