To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, PATRICK J. HARE, a citizen of the United States, and residing at New York, in the county of N cw York and State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Apparatus for Extracting Liquids from Garbage or Offal, of which the following is a specification, such as will enable those skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
This invention relates to apparatus for extracting or separating liquids from garbage or offal so that said garbage or ofial may be treated in the usual manner for any purpose, and the object of the invention is to provide an apparatus of the class specified which is simple in construction, convenient of and effective in operation, and which is also comparatively inexpensive, and by means of which the said operation of separating liquids from garbage or offal may be quickly, easily and effectively performed; and with this and other objects in view the invention consists in a machine or apparatus of the class specified, constructed and operating as hereinafter described and claimed.
The invention is fully disclosed in the following specification, of which the accompanying drawing forms a part, in which the separate parts of my improvement are designated by suitable reference characters in each of the views, and in which Figure 1 is a sectional side view of my complete apparatus with part of the construction broken away;
