To all whom jimmy comem: v beem' panelist; and Fig, an enlarged view it known that l, STANLEY l IRA el'iveh siding at Newllrighton, in "the emmfl oi In the several figui'es like numerals are Beaver end Slate of Pennsylvania, a citizen used lo designate the United States, have invented oi" dis .ijceording to she p"::liee oi my inveii 7 overed certain new and useful lmprovetion, in its preferred form, l; provide an at ments in Attachment of Corrugated Sheets zfieebii g means or clip consisting of a. strip to Frame Structures, of which improve of metal bendable lo ez'lgag'e two flanges oi nents the followin i a specification; a Pllflll}. 01 been Slfll'li firmly holding 10 is far; as actual praeiioe iseOnQem-ed, e rivet the top of the plllllll, the rivet corrugated sheet metal is usually attached being provided, ob a distance from its base,

Assuming that the Washers have been placed, the sheets may then be laid on the rivets and punctured to permit the shank portions 2 to project through them. A second lot of soft metal Washers 10 may then be placed around the projecting ends of the rivets, and the rivets upset to clamp the plates between the Washers and firmly against the rivet ledges; and, as will be seen, the upper faces of the purlins or beams afl'ord substantial supports for the rivets While being upset.
I claim as my invention:
1. In a metallic frame structure, the. combination of flanged sheet-supporting members, elongate strips of bendable metal each engaging one of said members, and each provided with a hole, rivets having their bases abutting against said members and extending through such holes, said rivets being provided 3 at their bases With laterally exfianges and with transversely disposed shoulders at a distance from the bases, and corrugated metal sheets supported at their ridges by said rivet shoulders and en gaged by the upset outer ends of the rivets.
'2. In a metallic roof construction, the
I combination of flanged purlins, elongate strips of bendable sheet metal each engaging two flanges oi a purlin,. and each provided memes of soft metal Washers. I a
