My invention relates to computing or calculating machines. It is the object of my invention to over come this drawback by providing a device in which the actuating means for the indicating register is of such a charecter that during the rotation the setting-up wheel (6 ett'ected hy the movement of operating handle, no action'is exerted upon said register so that the number set up therein remains unchanged.
For this purpose the scttinpyup wheel a which carries the slidnble teeth in but is stationary while the teeth areheine; set up, is provided with an actuatingmember c, d, which receives its motion from the cam disk 0 and transmits the received mot on to the register either directly or through an intermediate operating member, as shown in the construction illustrated.
