15e it known that 1. Baarn- R. HALL, a citizen ot' the Vnited States, residing at Ontlook, in the lrovince ot- Saskatchewan and Dominion ot' Canada. have invented new and uset'ul Improvements in Vacuumt`leaners. ot which the following is a speciication.

This invention relates to iniprm'ements in vacuum cleaners. and`-particularly to hand operated cleaners.

The primalv object oi the invention is to construct a hand operated vacuum cleaner which shall be simple. cheap and thoroughly efficient. A

lith the above and other objects in view, the improvement resides in the construction, combination and arrangement of parts set forth in the following specification and falling within the scope of the appended claim.

Referring now to the, drawing in detail, the numeral 1 designates the suction or dirt pipe, and f2 a substantially rectangular nozzle arranged upon the lower end thereof.
