One object of my invention is to provide a mold of this character -which forms a wall having spaced ribs on its inner side and thereby 'forms air channels between theribs.

The invention consists in the featuresof construction, combination and -=arrangement of devices; hereinafteriully described and claimed. l i
In the accompanying drawings :Figure 1 is a perspective'view ofaflconcrete-wall mold constructed and arranged in accordance with my invention and showing the same in use in molding walls which are united and are arranged at right angles to each other. Fig. 2 is a -vertical sectional view of the same. Fig. '3 is a horizontal sectional view of the same. Figs is an elevation showing theinner sideof the outer mold section and the strips thereon which divide the outer surface of the molded wall into panels and give the same the appearance ofbeing constructed of concreteblocks.

' according to the length of the ,wall or awalls to be'molded, .and said sections are ,detachably secured together by strips 4 of [iron orsteel which are arranged in the channels I of the channel bars, extend iacross the joints "between the sections ,and are arranged n overlapping relation =from said joints, one end of each strip beingtofiiset as,at 5 =to abut against the meeting end of the companion strip and to provide an overlapping arm 6 which bears against the outer side of said companion strip. The-channel bars are permanently secured to the mold sections :by means of rivets {or theiike and serve to re inforce the mold. sections and ;to also hold .them straight and keep their surfaces plane.

When one course of the wall has been molded and the mold is raised to be used for molding another course, the mold sections will be supported in the required elevated position by their lowermost bolts 7 which will pass through the uppermost series of tubular members 11 embodied in the finished lower course, as will be understood. Hence the said tubular members 11 not only serve in connection with the tubular members to space the inner and outer mold sections, but also serve in corn nection with the bolts to support the mold sections in raised positiom'from course to course as the molding of the wall proceeds.
The inner mold sections 2 are provided on their inner sides with vertically arranged core formers 13, which are appropriately the core formers and which are cast in the wall as the latter is molded so that the said ribs of the wall .are provided with furring strips on which the lath may be nailed. To enable the wall to be formed with an outer surface, divided into panels to simulate a wall constructed of blocks, I provide strips l l which are suitably spaced apart and .arranged in crossed and in broken joint relation. The said strips are here shown as triangular in cross section, but may be of any other suitable shape,
In the angle between the walls, or in a corner of the structure, the inner mold member includes an le sections 15 each of which is provided on its inner side with angled channel bars 16, to aline with channel bars 3 and is also provided with angled strips 17 to aline and coact with the strips 2. Mold members 18 are'also arranged atright angles to the outer wall member 1 and in suitably spaced relation to the members 15, and are provided on their outer sides with channel bars 19 and strips 20. Said channel bars have closed outer ends 21, and said members 18 are secured to the members 1 by bolts 2:2, which pass through and engage with said outer ends of said channel bars.
Rods 23 pass through horizontal openings in the core formers 13 and after the wall is molded are then withdrawn and hence serve to form openings which extend through the ribs l).

To enable a sill E to be molded at the reuired height to support joists, I provide a mold member 2a which is a metal plate of suitable length and width and which is provided on the innerside with horizontal, in-
turned portions 25 which are suitably spaced to correspond with the air chambers of the wall A and extend across the upper ends of said air chambers, and form bottom portions to support the sill E, the lower portions of the wall 26 of said mold member extending downwardly and bearing against the inner side of the upper portion of the inner mold section or sections 2. This mold member may be removed after the sill portion of the wall has been molded and the.
vertical extension of themolding continued by the inner and outer mold members, as hereinbefore described.
Having described the invention, what is claimed is: V
1. In a mold of the class described, sections, channel bars arranged on the outer sides of the sections, and strips detachably secured in the channel bars and extending across the joints between andconnecting the sections together.
2. In a mold of the class described, sections, reinforcing angle bars arranged on the outersides of the sections, and strips detachably secured to said reinforcing bars and extending across the 3. In a mold of the class described, inner and outer sections having reinforcing bars on their outer sides, strips arranged on the joints and connecting the reinforcing bars and extending across the joints between the sections,'and spacing and connecting means between the inner and outer sections, said spacing and connecting means also detachably securing the strips in place.
4. In a mold of the class described, inner and outer sectionshaving channel bars on their outer sides, strips arranged in the channels of thechannel bars and extending across the joints between the sections, and bolts connecting the inner and outer sections together, and also detachably securing the strips in place.
5. In a mold of the class described, inner and outer sections, bolts connecting the inner and outer sections together, tubular spacer elements on the bolts, permanently secured to the outer sections, and tubular spacer hence left in the wall molded between said inner and outer sections.
6. In a mold of the'class descrlbed, sections, reinforcing bars detachably secured on the outer sides of the sections, and strips detachably secured'on said reinforcing bars and extending across the joints between the sections and arranged in overlapping relation. I
7. In a mold of the class described, inner and outer sections, a hollow core member open at its upper end and arranged between said sections, and a transversely angular mold member for arrangement on the upper sides of said sections and core member and Gopies of this patent may be obtained for five cents each, by addressing the having a portion extending across and closing the top of the core member and also having an upwardly extending wall to permit a joist supporting the air chamber formed in the molded wall by the core element.
