Be it known that I, ERNEST Koi-imm, a citizen of the United States, residing at Alameda, in the county of Alameda and State of California, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Games, of which the following is a specification.

This invention relates to improvements in games, the principal object being to provide a new and novel form of device by which a variety of games may be played.

VV ith these and other objects in view my invention consists in the novel construction, combination and arrangement of parts herein illustrated and more specifically pointed out in the appended claims.

Reference being had to the accompanying drawing forming a part of this specification, Figure 1 is a view in plan of the improved game board, showing the same arranged for one form of game. Fig. 2 is a view in longitudinal section. Fig. 3 is a view in plan of the game board arranged for another form of game.

Referring to corresponding parts in the several views by the same numerals of reference, the device consists of the board l, having a central circular cavity 2, from which extends rectangular cavities 3 and A, one on each side of said central cavity. In the rectangular cavities areV a plurality of division Walls 5, thereby dividingthese cavities into a plurality of longitudinal stalls, which are slightly wider than the diameter of the ball 6. On either side of the rectangular cavities are provided a plurality of evenly spaced holes 7 into which pegs 8 may be inserted in order to tally the points of the game. In the central cavity are a number of symmetrically disposed obstacles 6', in

to the surface of the bottom of cavity 2.

On the underside on the traverse center line of the board are provided legs 9, and on the ends are provided'holes l0, into which may beinserted other legs 1l for the purpose hereinafter described.

The balls are provided in two colors, as for instance, white and blue, in equal numbers. These are placed within the cavity and the board is tilted to cause the same to roll from one end to the other. When the balls are all within the runways 5, the adjacent balls of the correspondingcolor, provided there are three or more, count as one point each. Thus in Fig. l there would be three balls in the one slot, four balls of the same'color in another slot, and four in a horizontal row making eleven points in all. If, however, it was the other color which was being counted, there would only be three points scored. The board is then tilted to cause the balls to roll into the runways at the opposite end of the board, the obstacles 6 causing them to form new combination.

In another form of the game, a member 12 is provided having the cross pieces 13 connected by the longitudinal strip 14. This member 12 is positioned with the cross bars closing the ends of slots 5, and when starting the game the balls are all placed in the central cavity 2. Also the eXtra legs 11 are inserted in the holes 10, thereby making the device stand firmer on the supporting surface. In this form of game, the object is to place three balls of the same color in a row, either vertically or horizontally. The players select balls, each of one color, from the central cavity and alternately place them in one of these runways. The player who first succeeds in putting three balls of his color in a row wins that game.

While I have shown and described these two forms of games it will be understood that various forms of games may be played on the board.

I claim 1. A game device comprising a base having a circular central cavity and rectangular diametrically disposed cavities yextending therefrom, a plurality of division walls in said rectangular cavities and obstacles disposed within said central cavity.

2. A game device comprising a base having a longitudinal cavity in the surface thereof, a plurality of division walls in the ends of said cavity, raised obstacles disposed in said cavity between said division walls and feet attached on the underside of said base on the transverse center line thereof.

3.
