Be it known that I, WILLiAM HENRY Rose, a citizen of the United States of America, and resident of Baltimore, Maryland, have invented certainlmprovements in Coats and Similar Articles of Clothing, of which the' Figure 1 is an inside view of a coat pro-' vided witha detachable lining in accord-' ance with'the present invention, and Fig. 2

I claim as my invention A coat provided with a permanent skeleton lining extending from the neck portion across the shoulders and to a point below the arm openings, and free from the coat at its lower edge, in combination with a lining portion extending from the lower edge of the skeleton lining to the lower edge of the :coat, said lining portion provided with means at its upper lateral and bottom edges for deta'chably securing the same to the lower edge of the skeleton lining and the coat.
