This invention relates to certain novel and useful improvements in humidifiers. l
An object of the invention is to provide a humidifier which will blow moisture into u. room :1nd :it the seme time agitute the air.
A further object of the invention resides in supplying the device with water in such manner that the witter carriers will be constantly kept moist.
A still further object of the invention resides in providing novel means for conveying the surplus water from the carriers.
W'ith these and other objects in view, such as will app-eer es the descriptionprogresses, my invention comprises the combination and arrangement of ports as set forth in and falling within the scope of the appended claims.

Covering thel face of each blade is e water container 9 formed of cloth or some other soft materiel that will reedilv absorb water. These water earriersf) are f mired to theinnerends of blades and cxtend into the chambers 6 in slight spaced relation to the bottoms thereof and are secured therein by the bills 8. In order that these water carriers may be supplied, continuously, with water I have secured a reservoir 10 to the blades in alinement with the she it 3 which reservoir is rotatable with the fen and has n plurality of outwardly extending nozzles 11 each of which is in elinement with and lies over one of the blades. EX- tending into the reservoir 10 is a supply pipe 12 which is stationary and is loosely connected to the reservoir so that the reservoir muy rotate with relation thereto. As the fan, revolves the water is thrown outwardly from the nozzles 11 by centrifugal force and is absorbed by the carriers 9, the moisture is then blown into the air by the revolving,r of the fan.
During the operation of the device and because of the centrifugal feeding' of the water it .will `gradually Work to the outer ends of the blades and in order that it may not be thrown ott' of these ends, I have provided the chambers G end in order that the water muy be conveyed from these chambers during the revolution of the fun I have provided u circuzusr-,rihing chamber 13 in which is formed u continuous slot 14. Connected to one corner of euch of the chambers 6 is :in outlet pipe lo which extends ino the slot 14. During the revolution of tl .e fgln the water is thrown by centrifugal fence o t of the pipes 15 into the chamber 13 thi-ou h the slot 14 therein. The water is conveyed from the chamber 13 to an outlet pipe 1G having; n .suituble oook 17 therein.
In operation the reservoir 10 is supplied with water through the pipe 12 end the cnrriers t? dzunpeiued et which time the continuous revolution of the fan willl throw moisture into the :tir :it the sumo time the nir is rig-rituted. The surplus water works gradually ov centrifugal force to the ends of the. blades of the lun und is caught in the chambers; on the suid ends, the water is then thrown from th chambers through the pipes rounecled loreto into the circum- 5 be keptmoist but of such construction that therel 4will'be no possibility water escaping therefrom.

In a humidifier, the combination with a fan having an absorbent material on the blades thereof, of a Water reservoir secured concentrically with the axis of the fan, Said reservoir being constructed and arranged to eject water therefrom upon the rotation of the fan onto said absorbent material, chambers at the ends of the blades of the fan for accumulating water therefrom, centrifugally controlled outlet pipes in said chambers, and a circumscribing chamber for receiving' the water from said outlet pipes. In a humidifier, the combination with a. fan having absorbent material on the blades thereof, of centrifngally controlled water feeding means for supplying the absorbent material with water. means for collecting the water from the ends of the blades, and means for conveying the water from the said last mentioned means.
4. In a humidifier, the combination with a fan having a plurality of blades, of absorbent material secured to the blades, a waterreservoir secured to the fan centrally thereof and having radiating pipes arranged in alinement with the blades, chambers on the ends of the blades, a pipe connected to each chamber and extending`- outwardly therefrom, and a circumscribing chamber having a slot therein, the said pipes extending into said slot throughout the entire revolution of the fan.
