Instead of shifting the members 18 and 19 by hand it may be done by means of a screw mechanism such as that shown at 22 in Fig. 9. This screw as will be -observed passes through a member 17k similar to the member 17 in Fig. 8. The screw is provided with'a handle 23 and by turning this handle the frame members 18 and 19 bearing the negative 5 may be shifted at will over the plate 2. l
I claim:
.1. In a printing device, a frame, a glass plate carried by said frame, removable stop members carried by the glass plate for holding a sensitized plate in position, a negative slidably disposed on said frame and movable therealong to cover portions o the frame.
2. In a printing device,'a frame, a glass L plate carried by said frame, removable stop members carried by the glass plate for holding a sensitized plate in position, a negative slidably disposed on said frame and movable therealong to cover portions of the frame, and, means for covering the exposed portions of the plate not covered by the negative.
3. In a printing device,. a vframe,y a glass plate carried by said frame, removable sto members carried by the glass plate for hol ing a sensitized plate in position, a. negative slidably disposed on said frame and movable therealong to cover portions of the frame, and meansor covering the exposed portions of the plate not covered by the negative, said last-named means comprising a series of opaque slides of same width as the negative.
4. In a printing device, the combination with a negative, of a frame having a pair of parallel grooved guide members, the ends of said negative being arranged to slide in the grooves in said guide members, a glass plate disposed on one side of the negative and in close engagement therewith, and a plurality of opaque slides of the same width as the negative and arranged to cover the portions of the glass plate not covered by the negative.
5. In a printing device, the combination with a negative, of a frame having a pair of parallel grooved guide members, the ends of said negative being arranged to slide in the grooves in said guide members, a glass plate disposed on one lside of the negative and in close engagement therewith, a lurality of opaque slides of the same width as the negative and arranged to cover the portions of the glass plate not covered by the negative, a series of removable stop members carried by said glass plate and having cut away portions arranged to receive the corners of a sensitized plate `:for l osition.
