Figure l of the drawing is a representation of a front elevation of my invention. Fig. 2 is a vertical sectional view of the same.
My invention relates to refrigerators; and consists in a novel construction and arrangement of an apparatus intended toserve efciently as a refrigerator and as a supply for a water-cooler.
In the accompanying drawing this refrigerator is shown as constructed with two interior apartments- B the upper and B' the lower apartment. C represents the refrigerator-case; D, a
hinged lid to the apartment B; O', the iioor or partition separating B from B', D', vertical doors opening, by means of springs or hinges i, into the apartment B' at the front of the refrigerator; all constructed with double walls or made with interior spaces E, which are filled with charcoal.
F represents a zinc lining placed within the apartment B, and designed to contain ice for the purpose of keeping the apartment B' cool and supplying the detachable water-cooler G through the medium of a tube, G', which enters the lower part of the apartment B. H represents a strainer, formed in one ofthe corners ofthe zinc lining I1, over the end of the tube G'. I represents small glass doors arranged within openin gs in the doors D, and working either on hinges or springs t'. The water-cooler G is designed to be readily separated from the pipe G' in order that it may be easily cleaned.
I claim as my invention- The refrigerator herein described, consisting of the case C, ice-chamber B having pipe G for connection with a separable water-cooler, inclined bottom strainer H, partition C', and preservingchamber B', all combined and arranged substantially as specified.
In testimony that I claim the above I have hereunto subscribed my naine in the presence of two witnesses.
