My present invention may be considered as an improvement 11p011 the invention shown in such patent, as the seat 111 my improvcd chair is supported and tips upon the S001 by means of balL and-socket joints. A011ai1 made as' shown and described is exceedingly S131011g, is easily manipulated, and is very simple as regards the construction and a1- rangement, which have reference t0 the tipping seat.

A tipping chair, having the globular fecti piv- 0ted in sockct-picces h, and having also the lever- 1atch 19 for locking the seat in a tipped position, and a retractile spring, 0, applied as.shown a11d described.
