IMPROVEMENT IN TOILET PASTES.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 116,786, dated July 4, 1871.
To all whom it may concern .Beit known that I, JULIE DESMARQUES YOUNG, of the city and county of San Francisco, State of California, have invented a certain compound, called Elixir de Beaumondaire, to be used on the face and hands for the purpose of healing, rejuvenating, and beautifying the skin, and obliterating all wrinkles.
The nature of the invention consists in the dis covery of the peculiar action of the outward application Lf cod-liver oil (combined With the following-named ingredients) to the human skin as conducive to the above-named eflects:
In manufacturing this compound I use one ounce of cod-liver oil, more or less; one-quarter ounce of olive-oil, more or less; thirty drops of alcohol, more or less; five drops of aqua ammopurposes set forth.
