To all whom it may conc6rn Be it known that I, HANNAHLIEN, a citiz en of the United States, residing at Minne;
' apolis, inthe county of 'Hennepin and State ing, the numeral 2des'ignates the casing of of Minnesota, have invented ce'rtain new-and useful Improvements in Looks,- of which' the following is a specification, reference being had to the 'accompanying drawings.
This invention relates to an improved lock and has for its primary ibj ect to 'provide a lock which is especiallydesigned for use in looking together the endsvof t'runk ropes or other binders. r
It is another and more particular Object to' provide alock for the above purpose which embodies in its` construction, a plurality of movable locking members and means coperating therewith to retain the same in theireffective positions, and mproved means for simu ltaneously releasing all of the looking members. i
With the above and other objec ts in view, the invention consists in the novel features of construction, combination and arrangement of parts as will be hereinafter' referred 'to andmore particularly pointed out in the specication and claims.

,The latches' 20 are normally'retained in their operative positions `by means ,of-the coil Springs 22, one. end of each of said coil Springs being secured to a post 23, while the other end thereofbears against the rear of the corresponding latch 20. It will be noted that stops 24 are carried by the disk 10 and adapted to limit the swinging movement of the arms 20, so that they will not pass beyond their looking positions, as shown in Fig. 2. In Fig. 2, I have illustrated the hasps 14 and latches 20 in their locked positions and mounted upon the disk 10 are the Springs 25, the free ends of which are-adapted to engage the inner ends of the hasps 14,* whereby to assist in disengaging the hasps In order to prevent inward movement of the hasp 14 beyond the looking point, I provide suitable stops 26 which are carried by the disk 10 and adapted to be engaged by the inner ends of the hasps 14. Thus, it will be apparent that the' hasps 14 are inserted through the openings 12,'the beveled faces 27 of the hasps 14 engaging with the beveled faces 28 of the latches 20 to force the latches 19 away from. the stops 24 and permit the hasps 14 to pass into the casing where they will engage the stops 26, the latch 20 engaging in the recesses 18 to lock the hasps 14 against any outward movement. When it is desired to release the latches 19 from the hasps 14, the key 9 is inserted through the Opening 29 in the cover 3 and engaged over the flanged end 18 of the hasps 14. It will be noted that by rotatng the Wheel in the direction of the i zo i arroW, indicated in Fig; 2, the stops 24 will press outwardly upon the arms 20 and disengage the latches 19 from the recesses 18. v
