It Will therefore be seen that I provide a very simple and efcient construction for the purpose set forth and by such construction provide an article which may be used either as a drain head for the collection of moisture or may beused, With equal facility, as a terminal for the diiusion of moisture.
Having thus described my invention, What Il claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent is A device for thel purposes set forth consisting of an impervious monolithic body having a bottom and an annular'side Wall rising from the edge of the bottom, the bottom having a central chamber opening therethrough in its upper side and an enlarged aperture in its lower side communicating directly With said chamber, the upper side of said bottom being concave and further provided With channels radiating from the said chamber to the annular side Wall and increasing in Width toward their outer ends, a monolithic porous filler in the body above the bottom thereof and intimately connected to the annular side Wall, said ller having channels therethrough, a pipe having its end fitted in the aperture in the bottom of the body, and a tying device inserted through the bottom of the body and through the channels in the iller to secure said pipe thereto.
