Said'protector is alsoprovided with a plurality of pointed 'tri- ."an'gular projections 7 which are struck up from the metal of which the'protector is formed between adjacent hollow'conical projections 6 of the outer-serles of 'saidprojections and-constitute a fastening means whereby said protector can be joined to the sole 8 of a bootor shoe; Thenrotector' is Specification of Letters Patent.
