IMPROVEMENT IN COMBlNED TATTlNG-SHUTTLES AND CROCHET-NEEDLES.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.
To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, Cossrmsrmn Hlsennn, of New Brunswick, in the county of Middlesex and State of New Jersey, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Combined Tatting-Shuttles and Orocbeting-Needlcs; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being bad to the accompanying drawing forming a part of this specification.
My invention relates to combined tatting-shuttles andcrocbeting-needles.
My invention consists in a new way of bringing together a tattiug-shuttle and crocheting-needle to form a compound instrument, as hereinafter fully described and subsequently pointed out in the claim.
Figures 1 and 2 of drawing represent sections of a taming-shuttle with side views of my implement.
A represents a handle suitably shaped, so as to be conveniently rolled between the thumb and finger.

What I esteem as new, and desire to protect by Letters Patent, is-
A compound tatting-shuttle and orocbet-ing-needle, the former having a square-socketed bobbin, 0, and the latter having a square shank, c, to fit therein and rotate the said bobbin, as described.
