IMPROVEMENT IN CRADLES.
Specication forming part of Letters Patent N0. 113.497, dated April 11, 1871.
I, J OEN B. CHARLTON, of Kalamazoo, in the county of Kalamazoo and State of Michigan, have invented a certain Improvement in Baby Cradles and Cribs, of which the following is a specification:
Nature and Objects of the Invention. My invention consists in a cradle which has either a swinging Or rocking motion7 and which may be resolved into a mere crib.
Description of the Accompanying Drawing.
Figure 1 is a perspective view of the cradle while at nearly the extent Ot' its longitudinal swing. Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the crib. l Fig. 3 is a side elevation ot' the swingbar which connects the crib A to the rocker C, and b v means Ot' which the swinging motion is obtained.
General Description.
Fig. l represents the cradle entire, of which A is the crib, which is shown separately in Claim.
I claim as my invention- The combination of cradle and crib by the Swing-bars B and B', in the manner and for the purpose set forth and described hereinbefore.
