A rotary engine comprising a stator including a support and an eccentric fixed to said support, and a rotor including a ring rotatably mounted on said eccentric, an annular rotor member surrounding and contacting with the periphery of said ring, said annular rotor member being arranged eccentrically with relation to the axis of said ring, and a pivotally mounted, abutment member connecting said annular rotor member to said ring, the said1 annular rotor member being provided with inlet and eX- liaustports arranged on opposite sides of said abutment member.
