Letters Patent No. 112,083, dated February 21, 1871.
IMPROVEMENT IN KITCHEN-TABLES.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making parl: of the same.
I, JOHN SHAW, of the town of Whitby, in the connty of Ontario and Province oi' Ontario and Dominion of Canada, have invented certain Improvements in Kitchen-Tables, of which the following is av specification.

The object of my invention is to construct a table whichcombines a kneading-trough,bake-board, cupboard, spice-drawer, and kitchen-table, all in one.
Description of the Accompanying Drawing.

General Description.
A is a trough for kneading the dongh;` it can be made any convenient depth or shape, but a semicircit lar shape is preferred.
a is a. vent for the escape of the water after cleaning, and is stopped by a Wooden plug.
B is the' bake-board, which is a rectangular hollow tray, any convenient depth, and slides on "a tongueand-groove joint over the body of the table, covering the kneading-trough A.
C is the movable tcp of the table, and is held to the bake-board B either by three cleats,'1)` D D, or hinges, whichever way maybe found most convenient.
TE is a cupboard for holding pans and other necessary articles, and is fitted up with two or more shelves, Y
and is closed by a door in the ordinary way.
F is a drawer for holding spices, and is divided into compartments for that purpose.
Claim.
"What I claim as my invention is-f The combination oi' the kueading-trongh A, bakeboard B, movable top C, held to the table-hoard B by thrcecleats, D D D, or hinges G, the cupboard E, and the spice-drawer F, suhstantially'as described.
