It will be understood that the invention is not limit-ed to details and that numerous changes may be made withoiit departing l'roni its scope. It will be apparent that those slats which serve as parts of the'lazy tong linkage may be reinforced if desired. lt will also be obi-'ions that the idoor or shutter may be arranged to operate sidewise across the door or window opening, instead of being raised and lowered, that is to say, the slats may be approximately vertical iiisteail of horizontal.
