the county of Los Angeles and State of California, have ,invented a new and useful Improvement 1n` Shower-Baths, of which .the following is a specification.

This invention relates to bath tub fixtures andlniore particularly to shower bath attachments, and the principal object is to provide a shower that is readily appliedto the standard bath tub cock.

It is also an object to provide a showerl .bath that does not require an inclosure to prevent the water from escaping from the' contines of the bath tub. l 1

Itis also an object to provide a shower in which the plurality of sprinkling elements" are adjustably secured so that thespray therefrom is capable of being regulated to meet individual requirements. l

It is a further object to provide` a branched support for the shower that will t any onel of the numerous styles of bath tub cocks, together with means to properly aline the upright member of the shower.

To regulate and secure the shower in the upright position necessary for'the most eilicient results, the dependent limb 17 is'provided` in the lower portion vof which a number of threaded bores are provided, adapted Vto receive and hold the adjusting screw 25 Which may only bear upon the nipple 11 but is preferably threaded into and forms therewith a positive connection to the clamp-band 26, provided with a threaded bore for the screwl 25 and bores in the ends through which is passed the clamping bolt 27. These nipples are found to be of different lengths so the plurality of. bores are provided in the stem 17 to accommodate these di'erences.

What we claim isl. An attachable shower bath comprising an upper and a lower tubularmember, means to adjustably secure said lower mem- Aber to v.a bath cock, a connection interposedmembers lhaving concaved apertured faces adjustably supported in said connection and said valve casing, and tubular means to connect the lower end of said lower tubular member to said bath cock.

2. A detachable shower bath comprising `an upper anda lower tube, means to verti# cally adjust and secure the lower end of lsaid lower tube to 'a bath cock, a flexible connection from said cock to said lower tube adapted to .convey fluid thereto, a hollow connection secured to theupper end of said tube and the lower end of said upper tube having achannel adapted to convey Huid throughsaid connection and to a spraying member supported in relation thereto, an elongated spraying member vertically adjustable in said connection` a valve casing secured to said upper end of said upper tube and adapted to convey fluid to a spraying member, and an elongated spraying member' vertically movable in relation to said valve casing, whereby the supply of fluid thereto may be cut olf as desired.

3. An adjustable showerbath comprising `an upper vand a lower tube, means to adjust and secure the lower end of said lower tube to a bath cock, a tubular connection from the bath cock to said lower tube, av hollouv connection arranged to connect the said upper and lower tubes, provided with a channel to convey fluid, an elongated spraying member extending on either side *of said connection and vertically movable in relation thereto, a valve casing secured to the upper end of said upper tube, a tapered valve mounted in said casing adapted to convey fluid to a spraying member, and a spraying member attached to and eXtendine'-,f on either side of said valve, and adapted to operate the said valve.
