To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, FRANK P. KOBERT, a citizen of the United States, and residing at New Haven, in the county of New Haven 5 and State of Connecticut, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Insu-' lator-Supports for ElettrioWires, of whlch the following is a specification, such as will enable those skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same. 1
ports for electric wires, and particularly to devices of this class designed for use in connection with the cross arms usually employed on electric wire poles or similar supports, and with this and other objects 1n view, the invention consists in a device, or devices of the class specified, constructed as hereinafter described and claimed.
The invention is fully disclosed in the following specificatiDn of which the accompanying drawin forms a part, in which the separate parts 0 my improvement are desig nated by suitable reference characters in each of the views, and in which Figure 1 is a cross sectional view of one of the cross arms used in connection with a pole or similar device, for the purpose of supporting electric wires, and showing my improvement applied thereto with the construction thereof partly in; section ;--Fig. 2 a section on the dine 2-.-2 of Fig; 1;Fig. 3 a section-on the line 3-3 of Fig. 1, and Fig.4 a section on the line 4-4 of Fig. 1.

This construction, as will be seen, produces a strong and substantial frame which may be securely bound to, or secured to the arm a,'and in the operation of turning the nuts d so as to tighten the bolts 0r rods (Z and bind the to and bottom members of said frame toget er, the bolts or rods all move in wardly and press against the sides of the arm a, and the top and bottom members are also drawn into close connection with the top and bottom of the aim a and this construction also adapts the device to arms of difierent transverse and vertical. dimensions, as will be readily understood.
