lVhile I have shown and described a spe cilie form of clamping member, it will be readily understood that this could be varied without departing from my invention.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent is:
1. A cover for the purpose described, comprising a flexible disk having a slit extending from the center oi the periphery thereof, one of the portions of the disk formed by the slit adapted to overlap the other portion, a cam pivotally mounted on the overlying portion, a clamping member between the cam and the overlying portion and having a slot through which the pivot of the cam passes, the upper end of the clamping member turned outwardly to form a camengaging surface, and the lower end of the said member turned inwardly upon the inner face of the underlying portion, where- J by the overlying and underlying portions are clamped in their adjusted position.
2. A cover for the purpose described, co1nprising a flexible disk having a slit extending from the center to the periphery thereof,
Copies of this patent may be obtained for one of the portions of the disk formed by the slit adapted to overlap the other portion, a cam pivotally mounted on the overlying portion, a clamping member between the cam and the overlying portion and having a slot through which the pivot of the cam passes, and a lateral extension against which the cam surface engages and the lower end of the said member turned inwardly upon the inner face of the underlying portion.
