l A is a frame, consisting'of two side bars connected at their ends by two end bars, and which is made of such-a size as to lit into the bedstead and restupon cleats or other supports attached to therails ofthe bedstead.
B is a sheet of paper of such a` hreadthas to'extend or nearly extend from one side bar of' the frame A to the other.
One end of' the paper B is attached to the under sideof one of the end bars of the 4frame A aud is then passed around the frame A, and its other end is attached tothe same end bar as the first end of said paper. l The paper B is passed -around the frame A while wet, and shrinks toits place as it dries, so as tol have the nccessarytension when dry. Y
The paper B may be made in sheets'or in strips of any desired breadth, the form of the paper being immaterial, and it may'be attached to its frame in, any desired manner; hut I prefer to 'attach it when'wet,
v audallow it to shrink to its place asit dries.Y
By this construction is -produced a neat, clean,
' strong, durable, and comfortable bedbottom.
Having thus described my invetion, 5
I claim vas new an'd desiretc secure by LettersI Patent'.- i
