This invention relates to typewriterattachinents, and. particularly to typewriter attachments `to provide a support for a roll ffpaper, and the principal object is to provide a typewriter attachment with a traveling rollwhich moves cooperatively with the carriage.

More specifically in the drawings, 5 designates the vrear portion of the frame on which is mounted the carriage 6 having the end frames 7. Secured to the rear portion ot the machine are the brackets 8 which support the rod 9 ,which acts as a supporting track for the roll supporting carriage 10. This carriage consists mainly of a horizontally disposed frame 11 having depending' therefrom a-plurality of brackets 4l2'. pairs of these brackets being* adapted to form bearings for the lrooved wheels 14 which rest upon the rod 9.
