IMPROVEMENT IN CHURN-DASHERS.
The Schedule referred to .1n-these Lettera Patent and making part of the same.
'o all whom 'it may concern:
Be it known that I, SrLAs E. BAUDnn, of Birmingham, in the county o't' Erie and State of Ohio, have invented a new and valuable Improvement in Ghnrn- Dashers; and I do Vhereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the construction and operation of the same, reference being had 'to the annexed drawing making a part of this speci` cation,-:1ud to the letters and igures of reference marked thereon.
Figure 1 of the drawing is a side View of my inrention in perspective.
Figure 2 is a longitudinal section of the same.
My iuventionrelates to churns, and consists in the construction' and novel-arrangement of' fixed hoods over the apertures of a conical chnrn-dasher, intended for use in an upright or dasher-cburn.
A of the drawing represents a cone or hill-shaped cylinder, with a series of openings, marked c, over each of which openings is aiixed a hood, marked c, open at its lower'end.
The lottery represents a rod, havin g a screw-th read cut on its surface throughout its entire length.
At the bottom of this rod is attached the remoraf ble inne'r dasher D, which consists ei two. bars or I am aware that a perforated conical dasher is notv new. Hence I douot claim such; but
