IMPRGVEMENT IN SASH-FASTENERS.
The Schedule referre to in these Letters Patent and making part ofthe same I', PHILIP T. SHARE, of the city and county of Baltimore, and State ot' Maryland, have invented certain Improvements in Window -sash Locks, ot' which the following is a specification.
The nature of my invention consists in a combination, by means of which a rectangularjholt is conveniently locked and held in theouter meeting rail of window-sash.
Figure 1 shows the right-angled slot at.
Figure 2 shows the screw b that holds the bolt and socket c together.
Figure 3 shows a to'p view oi' the bolt as set on the` top of the meeting rail of the sash. v
Figure 4 shows the lock in section, exposing the slot in the bolt f, and the projection of the screw b into the slot, for the purpose of holding the bolt f and socket c together.

which is cast in the edge of the aperture in which the socket c slides.
The construction of the lock and its working is so plain .that I deem it unnecessary to mark by letters ot' reference any of its parts, excepting those which I claim as my improvements, which consist in the right-
