sections arranged in two pairs. parts are adapted to slide or to be partially telescoped one within the other and it is to this feature that the device owes its adjust- "ability When the four screen sections are united the resulting gure is a uadrilateral, perhaps more nearly approac 'ng an oblong than anything else but approaching a s uare shape as they are telescoped one within the other. The obliquely opposed sections are twins making the complete screen a unit composed of two twin sections.
Referringto the drawings, A and A form one lscreen section composed of two duplicate'parts and B and B .form the other section. The outer edges of each one of the which when the same is assembled will constitute the top and bottom and two sides of the screen are bounded by a piece orv pieces of iiattened material of peculiar formation.

' The formation of the part B will now be described. Like part A this is also formed of a Single piece of iattened material bent first to form an elongated U-shaped loop whose base is at 9 which surrounds the free termination of the side 5 of the part A. One of the sides 10 of this loop lies upon one side of the portion 5 and the other side 11 of the loop lies upon the other side of the said portion 5. It will be seen that the side 10 extends to the base 3 of the first U-shaped loop of part A and the side 11 forms a side in common for the` U-shaped loo just described and another U-shaped oop whose base is 12, disposed in an inverted position with relation to the base of the last described loop, and whose other side 13 is pressed upon the side 11, leavingA no space between the two sides, and extends the entire length of this side 11 when it branches away at 14 at right angles thereto and forms a loop whose base`is.15 and whose short side is 1-6 lying in and the end thereof bent over an 17 and inserted in the loop whose base 1s` 15 in a manner similar to said piece 17 with the screen wire 18 placed as above described.
The intersection of parts B and A is shown at the right in Fig. 2 and is simply -the left hand part of this figure rotated 180 degrees on its vertical axis.
The relatively inner edges of the screen A are secured to vertically and horizontally disposed strips E and F respectively, the latter extending slightly beyond its point of contact with the former. The edges E', F', of A correspond in every respect to E and F of A. The relatively inner edges of the screen B are secured to vertically and horizontally disposed-strips E and F respectively, the latter extending slightly beyondY its point of contact with the former. The edges E", F", correspond to E, F of B.
On the inside horizontal edge of each of the sections A and A a slightly curved prolongation of that edge as at X is -formed as a bar to insects to prevent them from crawling up between the 'overlapping screens. A similar vertical bar X is provided on the inner vertical edges of the members B, B; the two vertical `insect bars are bent toward each other and the same is true of the horizontal insect bars.
angles to each other and another piece of material shaped into three U-shaped loops,
two of which are disposed in a plane at right angles to the third, of auxiliary pieces of material adapted for partial insertion in two ofV the said U-shaped loops, part of each piece being bent back upon one side of each loop and a wire screen disposed between each of said pieces and its U-shaped loop.
2. In a wlndow screen, the combination with the frame which is composed of a piece of material shaped into a pair of elongated V.U-shaped' loops disposed 1n planes at right angles to' each other and another piece of material shaped into three U-shaped loops, two of which are disposed in a plane at rightl angles to the third, of auxiliary pieces of material obscurely disposed partly within two of said U-shaped loops and lapped over upon one side of each of said loops and a wire'screen disposed between each of said pieces and its U-shaped loop.
In testimony that I claim the foregoing as my own I have hereto aiixed my signature inthe presence of two subscribing witnesses.
