To all whom it may concern citizen of the United States, residing at Brooklyn, county of Kings, and State of New York, have invented a new and Improved Scaifold, of which the following is a specification.
. 'This invention relates to a scaffold of novel construction, which may be quickly set up, is readily adjustable and separable,
and possesses superior-strength and rigidity.

1.- A scaffold comprising a "plurality of corner uprights, platform-sustaining means carried therebyf a' base frame composed ofa pan of ion itudinal beams and a pan of cross beams t at are secured to the ends of l the longitudinal beams,- said-frame being adapted to encompass the uprights and to be slida-ble along the same,' and means for detachably securing the frame to the uprights at an elevation above the lower ends 2.
