With the air compressors secured to the feet of the operator, the operation of walking will successively actuate said compressors to force a quantity of air from each under pressure into the tank i, as the weight of the operator is borne first upon one toot and then upon the other. In each instance as the weight ol the operator is lifted from the compressor, the spring 141 will operate to expand the bellows to draw tberointo a quantity of air for a succeeding operation. In like manner the air may be compressed when the operator standing by alternately shifting his weight from one foot to the other.
It will now be apparcnt'that by the use of this device, an unlimited. quantity of air may be supplied. to the pressure tank in a simple and ellicicnt manner, obviating the necessity of pumping the air into the tank by hand to create the necessary pressure. It will further be observed that with this device, the supply of air is practically oontinuous, thereby enabling a uniform pressure in the tank to be maintained.
Having thus fully set forth-my invention, what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
1. A pump for spraying devices comprising foot pieces adapted to be secured to the respective feet of the operator, air compressors in the form of bellows attached to the espective soles of said foot pieces, valve controlled air intake pipes communicating respectively with said compressors and having their free ends supported above said foot pieces, and an air educt' pipe adapted to be connected to a pressure tank and having a valve controlled branch leading from each of said air compressors whereby a constant pressure is created in the pressuretank.
2. A pump for spraying devices comprising foot pieces adapted to be secured to the respective feet of the operator, bellows atowers tached to the respective soles of said foot pieces, the movable side of the said bellows hinged to the toe of the's'aid foot pieces, heels extending substantially to the lower edge of the movable side of the said bellows, valve controlled air intake pipes communieating respectively with said bellows and having their free ends supported above said foot pieces, and an air educt pipe adapted to vbe connected to a pressure tank and having a valve controlled branch leading from each of said air bellows.
