The cover A is provided With a slot A4 through which extends a shank Hs of the pointer H7 so that the latter is on thc outside of the cover A and readily points on the namesot the stations F5, which latter are arranged in such a manner relative to the printing characters F and F that when the pointer H7 points at any one name of the stations F5, the same name'ot' the station is represented by the printing characters F2 and F3 in top or printing position. The numerals l7 correspond to the numerals of the printing characters G2, G3 on the peripheral faces of the printing Wheels G and G', and the arrangement is such that when a numeral I7 (say l) appears inthe opening lA5 then the corresponding numeral l on the printing characters G2, G3 appears on top or printing position inlongitudinal alineinent with the Characters F and F and the type E of the date stamp E. l

A stamping machine, comprising a set of spaced printing Wheels mounted to turn in unison and provided at their peripheral faces with alined printing charactersrepresenting the names of stations, a second set of spaced printing Wheels mounted to turn in unison intermediate of the printingv wheels of the iirst set o'f printing wheels and independent thereof, the said second set of printing Wheels being provided at their peripheral faces with almed printing char# acters representing train numbers or time limits, manually-controlled means for set-` ting the said printing Wheels, a. platen mounted to swing toward and from the peripheral faces of the said printing Wheels, awspring-pressed ticket support mounted to slide intermediate the said printing Wheels and platen and adaptedto be moved by the latter, an inking roller, an inking pad, and means carrying the said inkingroller and connected with the vsaid platen to move the inking roller over the said padand the said printing characters on the printing wheels.
