rcn-onnaiu-conn HOLDER.

Specification of Letters Patent.
Application filed January 25, 1913. Serial No. 744,134.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, STEPHEN SHELL- HAMMER, a citizen of the United States," residing at Woodland, in the county of Yolo and State .of California, have invented a new and-useful Ice-Cream-Cone Holder,
. ity of coils or loops constituting holders for ice-creamcones, and provided with supporting legs and a suitablehandle.
The invention comprises further features and combination of parts, as hereinafter shown in the drawings. and Claimed.
In the .drawingsz Figure 1 is a view in perspective of the improved ice-cream cone holder constructed of a single length of wire material, showing two cones supported thereby. Fig. 2 is a planview of the holder.
Referring more particularly to the drawings 1 designates a single length of wire material, looped upon itself substantially at its central portion to form a coil 2 to re ceive an ice-cream cone. The wire material immediately adjacent the coil 2 or 1001) is twisted together as indicated at 3. Beyond the twisted portion 3, the wire material extends laterally in opposite directions forming the portions 4. Each portion 4 is formed in a twisted leg terminating at its. lower end in a loop 6, constituting a foot, and said legs are denoted by the numeral 5. Adjacent said legs 5, the wire material is formed into coiled loops 7 adapted to hold cones. The wire material forward of the coils 7 is constructed into coiled loops 8 to also support cones. The wire material is twisted together adjacent the coiled loops i. to form additional legs 9 having loops 10 at their lower ends forming feet. Beyond the legs 9, the wire material of each side of the holderis brought to substantially a pointed portion and twisted together as indicated at 11, immediately adjacent which twisted portion 11 'an annular loop forming -a cone holder 12 is constructed. Close to the'holder 12, the wire material is again twisted at 13, and beyond which twist- 13, the two portions 14 of the wire material are spread apart, extended rearwardly and coiled about the lateral port-ions 4, as indicated at 15. The two portions 14 constitute reinforcing or bracing rods or members, between the loop or holder 12 and the portions 4. The two portions 14 not only brace the loop or holder 12 and the portions 4, but together with the loop 12 (which as will be seen connects with the other structure), insure rigidity and strength for the entire ice -cream cone holder. Beyond the coils 15 the wire ma terial is again twisted'together as shown at 16, while the end portions of the wire material are twisted together as illustrated at 17, thereby forming a looped handle 18.
From the foregoing it is to be ascertained that there has been devised a novel, yet exceedingly simple structural skeleton frame constituting an ice-cream holder with a plurality of coiled loops to receive cones, and

all of which parts are constructed of a single length of wire material, it having been found that sucha holder is extremely desirable and practicable.
The contour of the single wire constructed ice-cream cone holder substantially resembles the shape of a heart.
The invention having been set forth, what is claimed as new and useful is 1. A substantially heart-shaped ice-cream cone holder constructed of a single length of wire material and provided with a plurality of coiled loops to receive cones, 'said wire material being twisted together to form legs, and constructed to form centrally arranged brace rods for the holder, said brace rods terminating together to form a looped handle. a
2. In combination, a single length of wire material coiled upon itself at its central portion to form a loop to receive a cone, said wire material beyond said loop arranged in.
a contour substantially resembling the shape of a heart, thereby providing a frame having coiled loops and supporting legs, the
wire material adjacent the pointed portion of the heart shaped frame extending inwardly thereof and twisted together to form an additional cone holding loop, said wire material beyond this additional loop constituting reinforcing rods coiled about that name to this specification in the presence of portion of the heart-shaped frame opposite two subscribing Witnesses.
the Pointed portion, and beyond Said rein- I forcing rods the wire material is constructed 5 and twisted together to form a, looped han- Witnesses:
dle. Cross. JOHNSON,
In testimony whereof I have signed my F. S. WEBSTER.
