INTEBLOCKED NETTING.
Specification of Letters Patent.
Patented July 8, 1913.
Original application filed November 6, 1909, Serial No. 526,592. Divided and this application filed April 18,
To all whom it may concern Iie it known that I, TAKIGJTRO Yinnnroro, a subject of theEmperor of Japan, residing at No. 27 hIita Shikokumachi, Shibaku, in the city of Tokyo, Empire of Japan, have invented new and useful Improvements in Inter-locked Netting, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to an improved method for making interlocked netting and, to the finished product itself, of which an example is disclosed in my U. S. application filed November (5, 1909, Number 526,592, and the present application is divided out from the above entitled application which has now matured into latent 1,026,5+Ll-, dated lWIay 1t, 1912.
The improved method and article will be fully described in connection with the accon'ipanying drawing and will be particularly pointed out in and by the appended claims.
In the drawing I have illustrated one form of my invention.
Referring to the term shown, 7 and S designate two cords each composed of twisted strands and the strands 9 and 10, of cord 8, extend through in opposite directions between and about strands 11 and 12, of cord 7, through one lap of twist, and not through adjacent or alternate laps of twist. In other words, strands 9 and 10 pass through and between the strands 11 and 12, at one lap of twist thereof, and the strands 11 and 12 extend likewise with respect to strands 9 and 10.
My improved method carried out, in any desired form, by first intertwining the strands at desired intersecting points to form the required net, and in then twisting the strands.
\Vhile I have herein shown and described my invention in. connection with cords of twisted strands, I do not wish to be limited to this precise construction, and the precise construction shown and described, except for such limitations as the claims import.
I clain1:-
1. An interlocked netting consisting of intersecting first and second cords each consisting of twisted strands, all the strands of the first cord extending between one lap of twist of the strands of the second cord, and the strands of all the second cord extending between one lap of twist of strands of the first cord, at the point of intersection of said cords, substantially described.
2. An interlocked netting consisting of intersecting first and second cords each composed of strands, all the strands of the first cord extending between one lap of twist of the strands of the second cord, and the strands of the second cord extending between the strands of the first cord, at the point of intersection of said cords, substantially described.
In testimony whereof I allix my signature in the presence of two witnesses.
