IMPROVEMENT IN PIANOS.

My invention consists in strengthening the parts of the wire where it genera-ily breaths by twisting :mother piece of wire or string with it.

The burs which support the sound-board have been heretofore mude of wood; but this is objectionable from the fnet that the bnrs lose their shape bythe continued pressure of the strings on the soiind-lnmrd.
I propose to remedy this defect ls follows:
