IMPRovEMENT IN PAINT-BRUSH.

To all whom it may concern l Be it known lthat we, ALVIN MGDONALD and J AMES M. WHITE, both ot Washington, in the county of Tazewell, in the State of Illinois, have invented a new and useful Device for Securing the Bristles to the Shell or'Handle of a Paint-Brush; and do hereby de- Aclare that the following is a full, clear, and exactA dcscription thereof, reference being had to the annexed drawing making a part of this specication, in which like letters of reference refer to like parts,`and in which- Figure l represent-s a vice and brush.

at `each end'of the cari-ier.7 Each screw or pin is securely fixed in the carrier, and passes upward through and works freely in its respective slot in the hall' disk.
