My invention fully overcomes these diculties by covering the head, or cap, or end a, of the eyelet or rivet b -with linen or other suitable material, which will then present a surface of the same texture and color as that of the garment to which it is attached, fully doingawayyrith all the objections afore named.

Be it known that I, SAMUEL M.
