Upon the top of thelbed-plankl are placed two adjustable ruiter-guides, F and- G. For doing pictureframework, or for cutting miters for any purpose,-

these guides will be found very convenient. L

It will be seen that,l by incliuing (inveither direc'- tion) the stands B B, a compound miter o1? bevel may be cut of any desired form. H is the working side ot' the box. f For cabinctmaking, and,`1n fact, for almost every description of shop wood work, this miter and cuto box will be found ot the greatest advantage.A y.

Having thus described my invention,

Patent- 1. The guides F G, constructed, arranged, and adjusted on a miter-box, as'and for the purpose specified.

2. The arrangement of two opposite pairs ot' vertical'lyadjustable saw-guides B B, with respect to a pair of horizontally adjustable ruiter-guides, as shown' and described, and for the purpose specified.
