1 0 au fui/zome' may conca/"n: I Be it known that I, ANTHONY STOCKER, a citizen oi the United States, residing at` Cohoes, in the county of Albany and State of New York, have invented new and useful Improvements in Table-Holders, of which the following is a specification.
rlhe general object of the invention is to facilitatethe locating of the required division or subdivision in a table of ligurcs, signs, naines or the like, and to this end the invention consists arranging in a casing adapted to he readily carried in the pocket of a garment, a table which is adapted to be moved so as to cause any division or subdivision thereof to be visi-ble through a transparent panel in the casing.

The drums 6 extend longitudinally of the casing and their opposite ends are adapted to be journaled in the ends 8-8 of the casing. The casing may be of any desired material andalso of any contour, preference, however,` is given to a metallic casing of a size to be readily carried, such as in a gar- `ment pocket of the user.

To prevent the too free rotation of the drums and to'insure against displacement of 'the table after the required division thereof is visible through the panel, l make use of suitable friction devices such as bent' strips 16 of resilient material secured to the trunnions l-fl and arranged so as to frictionally contact with one end of the casing.
Although l' have shown and described one, .embodiment of my invention it is to be understood that I am not to be limited. to the specic structure and arrangement of parts since various changes may be made, within the scope of the appended claim without departing from the spirit or sacrificing any of the advantages of the invention.
What I claim as new is:
A table holder comprising an elongated casing having/a sight opening thercin, a transparent panel for closing said opening7 said casing comprising a single strip of material bent longitudinally to provide a pair of spaced substantially cylindrical portions, said easing being also provided with a strengthening rib, end closures for said casing secured to said rib, a drum for each portion of said casing and jeurnaled in said end closures, and *a plurality of guide rolls journaled in said end closures adjacent the opening in said casing and outside the' periphery of said cylindrical portions.
