To all lwhom/15 may concern:
Be it lmown that I, VILLIAM S. MCCLUNG, a citizen ofthe United States, residing at Hagerman, in the county of Chaves, State of New Mexico, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Lubricators; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
This invention relates to lubricators for use in connection with vehicles, machinery, etc., with wheels to be oiled or greased to prevent friction n the axle or spindle of the Wheels.
An object of the present invention is to provide a receptacle for oil. or grease, the receptacle being provided with means for regulating the feeding of the lubricant, said means including a novel manually controlled valve and presser disk, the exposed actuating portions of said means being housed Within a cap carried by the receptacle so as to prevent the access of dust to the lubricant.
Wit-h the above Iobjects in View the invention consists of certain novel details of construction and combination of parts hereinafter fully described and claimed, it being understood that various modifications Inay be made in the minor details of construction Within the scope of the appended claims.

Fig. 3 is a cross sectional View taken on the line 3-3 The lubricator@ consists of a cylindrical receptacle 13 provided centrally in the bottom With an exteriorly threaded outlet nipple 14 designed to screw into thebearing to which the lubricant is applied. An intoriorl'y threaded cap 15 closes the top of the receptacle and is provided cxteriorly with Wrench faces 16 to which an' ordinary Wrench may be applied for unscrewing the cap in order to replenish the lubricant. An eX- teriorly threaded cylindrical plug 17 is screwed into the receptacle at the open end thereof and is prcJided on the outer face with spaced lugs 18 which forms means for applying or removing the plug. The plug is provided with a smooth centrally disposed openin 19.
A tu e 2O is journaled in the opening 19 and is provided with a stop pin 2li which bears against the inner face of the plug, and is further provided with radial rejections 22 which bear against the outer ace of the plug, the pin and projections preventing movement of the tube longitudinally through the opening, the projections further forming' means for rote-.ting the tube. Screw threads 23 are formed on the outer face of the tube, and mounted upon the tube is a presser disk 24 having a centrally disposed threaded opening 25 receiving the threads of the tube.
