As will be observed, the threads on the stem 12 at the head of the plug are stopped at such point as will prevent the ring 13 being screwed down enough to bind the button 26 and prevent it from swiveling freely,whilo at the same time undue'longitudinal play between the parts i5 not permitted.

A plug construction substantially as described is of few parts, all readily made and assembled, while the finished plug afiords all the elements of strength and serviceability which fit it for efiloient use.

I claim as my invention 1. An attachment plug comprising a hollow insulating body with lateral and end perforations communicating; with the inter rior of said body, an external side contact ring having a Wire terminal lug angled into said lateral perforation, and a Wire tenninal adjacent the end perforation, whereby wires led. through said hollow body may be respectively connected to said side and end terminals, in combinatipn with a screw shell in swiveling engagement with said side contact ring, substantially as described.
