My .'nvention relates to improvements in.

This operation may be performed by any suitable tool provided for the purpose, and a thin lining 8 preferably of sheet cork. is provided around tube 3 between the same and the bottle neck, so as to form a tight juncture and prevent leakage.

The device is intended, ofcourse, to be used with an ordinarystopper 14 which is.

When the bottleis returned to normal position, the ball valve will automatically close by reason of the weight, and cannot be tampered with because the screen '9 and tongues 10 will efiectually exclude any tool inserted through the bottle neck.

Various slight changes might be made in the general form and arrangement of parts described without departing from my invention, and hence I do not limit myself to the precise details set forth, but consider myself at liberty to make such changes and alterations as fairly fall within the spirit and scope of the appended claims.

Having thus described my invention, what I claimas new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is:

1. A non-refillable bottle having a neck thereon, a metal tubesecured in said neck, and having a conical inner end, a ball valve in said tube adapted to close the conical end, a circular series of inwardly bent tongues positioned at different elevations, and a longitudinal pin projected through said tongues and securing them together, substantially as described.

2. A non-refillable bottle having a neck thereon, a metal tube secured in said neck, and having a conical inner end, a ball valve in said tube adapted to close the conical end,
