This invention relates to certain .new and useful improvements in adjustable clamps and has for its ob` ject to provide a device of this character that is simple in construction, cheap to man ufacture and one that'can be readily applied and quickly adjusted when necessary.

In theorm of device shown in Figs. l to 3, my adjustable clamp comprises the horizontal base l provided with the vertical rear wall 2, sides 3 and front block or housing 4C; 5 indicates a slot provided in the rearv wall 2 for receiving a bolt for securing the clamp to the upright channel 7. From the foregoing, it may'be seen that my improved radjustable clamp may be quickly put into operation in structural construction or readily taken 'apart when desired. .j It is obvious that many other variations may be madein the details of construction and combination of partswithout departing from the spirit and scope of my invention, therefore, I. do not Wish to be limited to the exact construction as shown..
