IMPROVED STEAM AND GAS-PIPE HOOK,
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part oi' the seme.
To allv whom it tmay concern:
hooks from plate-iron struck with dies, and formed with a former, thereby producing a hook cheaper and` superior to the cast-iron hook now in use.
To enable others skilled in -t-he art to make and use my invention, I will proceed to describe its construction and operation.

I take a plate of wroughtiron of suitable width and thickness, cnt it up intolengths for one or more hooks, as may b e Wanted, and then c-ut the tongue B under a die, asin figs. 1 and 2, and then, by a simple process with a former, the tongue B is formed into' a hook, as in iig. 3, letters C C C C C C. What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
