I claim the follo\\ing:
1. 1n combination, a receptacle, a iiexible cover for said receptacle comprising a top part und sides, e U-shaped strep for receiving and secured to the side of the cover, an eye swireled to said strap, and a staple se` cured to seid receptacle and receiving said e e.

A flexible cover for receptacles, comprising a top part having the contour of the receptacle to be covered, a band secured to the top part at its periphery and extending to engage with the sides of the receptacle, n metallic U-shaped strap receiving the `cured to the end ofl said tening band between its limbs secured thereto, the-bend of the U-stmp being expanded to form a compartment, a. head Within said compartment, a link heving a stem extending through an opening in the bend of said strap, said head being sestem whereby said link has swivel engagement with said strap, said link being adapted to receive the fos member on the receptacle, and means at the ends of said band for enabling said ends to be secured to the receptacle.
