This invention relates to an apparatus for turning bags.

The object of the present invention is to provide an extremely simple and inexpensive apparatus whereby bags and sacks which may have contained granulated mate rial or line grain may be readily turned inside out.

In practice it has been found a great convenience and labor saver and makes a much cleaner job for the operator than doing it all by hand. In the case of fertilizer bags it is hard to get labor to stay at this work.- With this machine a boy can do as much bag turning as three men would do.

Having thus described my invention, what- I claim anddesire to secure by Letters Patent is 1. A bag turner comprising a pair of approximately centrally pivoted levers carrying coacting jaws at one end, one of the le vers pivoted to a support, the other lever having its inner end yicldingly supported so as to normally expand the jaws, and means for operating the .Y to close the jaws.
