Be it known that'A I, WALTER BAKER, a citir 4record can be readily and quickly obtained.
Another object of the invention is to provide an album wherein the records will be protected against breakage or damage by scratching or the like In the drawing, forming a portion of this I specification and in which like numerals of reference indicate similar parts in the sev eral views Figure l, is a perspective view of the album showing` the same in partly open position. Fig.V 2 is a transverse section through the cover member of the album. Fig. 3 is a vertical section through one of the leaves of the album. i
My improved album comprises a cover l which may be constructed of any suitable material, and as shown, the member 2 of the cover is provided with a pair of arcuate socket. members 8 into which the similar prong members -i on the member 5 of the cover are adapted to be extended, the said ,members 3 and l cooperating so as to form a leaf retainer.
The leaves ot the cover are identically constructed and each comprises an internisdiate sheet of cardboard or other suitable rigid material (i and outer similar layers oit material 7 and 8. The materials 7 and 8 are each provided with a central aperture i). The leaf is covered by cloth or other suitable pliable material l0, and as shown, the material is pressed into Athe openings 9 in the members or materials 7 and 8 and preferably passed, at ll, to the member G. Strips of materiall are secured to the leaves so as to partly close the openings t). A. member having a pocket, the said member having an outwardly iiared portion above the pocket, and a withdrawing mem ber located in the pocket and disposed beneath the said tlared portion of the member.
