Be it known that l, SrLvANUs D. WRIGHT, citizen of the United States, residing at Washington, in the District oi' Columbia, have invented certain new and useful improvements in Rotary. Pumps, of which, the following is a specification. A

Another object of the invention is theconstruction of an improved rotary pump having a plurality of plunger members mounted in a rotary piston operating in a cylinder, which is provided with means for forcing the plungers into an inoperative position, the plungers being formed hollow so that they will not be resisted by the tlow or pressure of the water-in the p'ump.
With the above and other objects in view the invention consists in certain combinations, constructions Vand arrangements yof parts, clearly described in the .following accompanying drawings, in which,
