An inverted burner for liquid fuels, comprising in combination two detnchably connected groups of parts, one group comprising a gasifier, n Bunsen tube, havingn nozzle connected therewith, and n cap surrounding the nozzle of said ,tube, and the other group comprising a chimney, an incnndeecentbody mounted thereon, and a globe mounted on said chimney, said chimney having a centrally-arranged tubcslidable on said Bunsen tube.
