Be it known that I, MARTIN V. llaiiraiaoir, a citizen of the United States, residing at- Springfield, in the county of Greene and State of Missouri, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Devices for Greasing and Pressing Trousers, of which is a specification.

To attain the desired objects my invention Consists of a pair of members adapted to tit and crease the trousers.

In order that the detailed construction and I the manner of using my device may be fully l "understood and its many advantages be fully i appreciated I have illustrated in the'accom- 3 panying drawings a device for stretching, creasing and pressing trousers embodying my invention.

My device is of extremely simple construction and comprises the pair of members A and A adapted to fit the inside of the trousers leg and c nnected together by the up ier and lower pairs of linlts I3 and B, the liii {S B being connected to the rod C and the links 13' being connected to the sleeve C, and to more the rod and sleeve I provide the adjusting screw D, having an operating head or handle E, and traveling in the threaded block F. From this construction it j will be seen that the members fit within the ;troiisers leg and that. the adjusting screw jlllOVQS the rod and sleeve ttltt adjusts said llltullllJtlS to fit the leg of the trousers, and {the member A is formed near its edge with the grooves G in which are adapted to bind the edges of the open sleeve H, while to the member A, is secured at each end the plates .T and J, the latter having a series of openings J to permit adjustment of its fastenf ings, and to the said plates J and J', is se- 1 cured the ends of the sliapin wire or bar 1 K, which fits against the inside of the leg of the trousers and upon this bar is engaged the open sleeves L and L, which net after the manner of a clamp and when the trousers leg has been stretched to the proper shape the sleeve H on one edge and the sleeves L and L serve to. press the crease t ress the crease firmly and smoothly in the rout and rear and give the proper shape to the trousers.

I claim:

1. i\ trousers stretcher and presser, comprising a pair of adjustable members adapted to fit the inside of the trousers leg, one of said members having grooves upon its outer edge, an open clamping sleeve ada )iLtl to fit said grooves, a forming bar carrier bv the other of said members, open clamping sleeves adapted to engage said bar, and means for regulating the adjustment of said adjustable members.

A trousers stretcher and presser, compair of ad ustable members adapted to fit t to inside of the trousers leg, lillh'S pairs to said members, a rod connected to tie linlis, a sleeve connected to the links, an ad usting sciew for operating the red and sleeve, and means carried by said'ad justable members for creasing anil pressing the trousers, said means comprising a orming bar carried by one of said members, clamping sleeves on said bar, and a clamping sleeve engaging the other of said adjustable members.
